Private messages have their own Messages panel. Meeting chat belongs to its room, and team chat belongs to its team workspace.
Can someone turn on my camera by calling me?
No. A call invitation must be accepted before you enter its media room. Browser capture permission remains under your control.
Can I message someone without starting a call?
Yes. Sending private messages does not create or join a meeting.
