Use YourF in your browser

Open YourF on your computer or phone. Sign in with your YourF account password, a linked sign-in provider or an existing passkey.

Add a passkey

  1. While signed in, open Settings → Security & sign in → Passkeys.
  2. Choose Add a passkey and follow your device’s face, fingerprint or PIN prompt. Confirm your current YourF password if asked.
  3. Next time, choose Sign in with a passkey on the sign-in page.

Use an up-to-date browser and a device screen lock. Keep your recovery email and another sign-in method available. Passkeys work for the website, not IMAP/SMTP apps.

EXISTING MAIL

Bring your mail

Connect iCloud

Open Apple Account → Sign-In and Security → App-Specific Passwords, then generate a password for YourF Mail. Apple requires two-factor authentication for this.

In YourF, open Connected mailboxes and use the iCloud address and app-specific password to connect your mailbox.

Changing your main Apple Account password revokes existing app passwords.

Import an mbox file

In Settings → Export & import, upload an mbox file of up to 1 GiB into an existing folder of your managed mailbox. For Gmail, you can use an mbox file from Google Takeout; extract it from the Takeout ZIP first.

Import is not a live connection. A failed import can leave earlier messages in the destination folder; check it before starting another job.

Open Export & import →

Gmail connection requires separate Google mailbox authorization. The Google app is in Testing and public verification is not complete.

Third-party mail apps (not available yet)

App passwords are not available yet. We’ll update this page when they are.

Third-party clients require a separate YourF app password. Your account password, passkey and linked sign-in cannot be used for IMAP/SMTP. These settings describe managed @yourf.com mailboxes.
